Quote by Marybeth Miceli
This quote suggests that even when engineers simplify their work to the general public and the efforts to break it down, the technical aspects remain a difficulty for public understanding. The technical details, even when simplified, might be too much for a non-technical audience to grasp.
Having experienced this first-hand. The way to tackle this challenge is not to just break it down into simpler understanding. It is much more efficient to use analogies in their daily lives for the public to understand better. It is solely up to the engineers how imaginative they are to make the public understand via analogies.
Thanks, Zhi Sheng, for being one of the first to post. This is an insightful explanation.
